Hormozgan province covers an area of 70,669 sq. km. and is situated in the south of Iran and to the north of the Persian Gulf. The Hormoz Strait is one of the focal and vital points in the jurisdiction of this province.

The province of Kerman covers an area of 180,836 sq. km. and is located in the south east of Iran. The said province is the second largest after Khorassan, and includes 11% of the total area of the country.

Lurestan province situated to the west of Iran covers an area of 28,294 sq. km. The townships of this province are as follows: Khoram Abad, Borujerd, Aligoodarz, Dorood, Koohdasht, Azna, Delfan, Selseleh and Pol-e-Dokhtar.

The province of Qom is situated to the south of the province of Tehran, and covers an area of 11,526 sq.km.. According to the latest divisions of the country , the township of Qom, is the only township of the said province.

The pass of Goijeh Boel is one of the most beautiful vicinities in Azarbayjan, 24 km. of Ahar. In this area two caravansaries or inns can be noted
