The above mentioned can be considered as one of the reputed wet lands in the central plateau of Iran. This vicinity covers an area of 476 sq. km.

The Karoon River, is one of the longest and most saturated rivers of Iran.

The village of Salavat Abad or Naman is located 15 km. east of Sanandaj and the Salavat Abad River flows from the south.

The same is located in an east-west valley on steep slope overlooking the northern front of the Takht Mountains 63 km.

In the early 1330 AH, a tall gate was erected at the entrance to the former vicinity known as Maidan-e-Mashk.
