Margoon is a part of the township of Boyer Ahmad and is located 24 km. of west of Yasooj - Brujen Road. The Saqaveh River passes from its southwestern part.

The Kheir Abad complex is one of the most important historical sites in Gachsaran. This complex consists of a school, fire temple, castles, and water reservoirs.

The construction of these types of castles are related to the sun worshipping and angel fertility beliefs.

This relic is located on the right side of the Dehdasht - Behbahan Road, and to the left of the Kheir Abad River and is related to the Sassanide era.
